The Samyang 24mm F1.4 ED AS IF UMC is a high-quality, fast aperture prime wide-angle lens designed for full-frame or APS-C-sized sensors. It proves ideal for full-frame cameras, making it a top choice for shooting street photography, landscapes, and architecture—even in low light conditions. The sharpness is exceptional, even at the edges of the frame when using wide apertures. Additionally, the fast F1.4 aperture enables a narrow depth of field when needed.

The Samyang 24mm F1.4 ED AS IF UMC is a manual focus lens. Its wide, easily accessible manual focus ring adapts perfectly to most photographic applications. Photographers can achieve accurate focus in critical situations or at very close distances by using the live view mode, which is available on most newer camera models. Furthermore, the 24mm lens produces beautiful bokeh, the pleasing character of out-of-focus areas, thanks to its design and fast aperture.

The optical construction of the Samyang 24mm lens consists of 13 elements arranged in 12 groups. Among them, four elements feature low-dispersion glass (ED), and two are aspherical. To ensure the best possible light transmission and reduce ghosting and flare, the lens is Ultra Multi Coated (UMC). Additionally, the lens comes with a detachable petal-shaped hood, lens caps, and a soft lens bag. The filter size is 77mm.
