Samyang is launching the AF 35mm F1.4 E II, a second-generation evolution of its Full-frame Standard Prime lens, optimized for portraits, landscapes, and video shooting. It includes Samyang’s key features, such as the focus hold button and custom switch. With this new announcement, Samyang now updates both the 50mm and 35mm lenses, two major focal lengths in the F1.4 E lineup.

   Pressing this button locks the lens to the current focusing distance. Additionally, you can assign functions such as Eye AF to this button through the camera body’s settings.

2. Custom Switch
   The lens comes with a custom switch, which allows for silent aperture adjustments by rotating the focus ring. Using the optional Lens Station, you can set the mode to fit your personal preferences. (*Additional functions will be available through future firmware updates.)
