PL-S150L LED Panel Light

Designed for compact studios, the SWIT PL-S150L 150W Long Ratio Bi-color SMD LED Light features a unique 3×0.5′ long-ratio design that fits close to the ceiling without affecting camera framing. It delivers powerful, soft illumination with adjustable color temperature, high color accuracy, silent operation, and flexible power options, making it ideal for broadcast studios, conference rooms, museums, churches, and other professional lighting applications.

Optimized for Low-Ceiling Studios

The slim 3×0.5′ form factor minimizes height occupancy compared to traditional 2×1′ LED panels. This allows installation close to the ceiling while maintaining wider shooting angles in studios where space is limited. A 360° pan-and-tilt ball head bracket provides flexible positioning for precise lighting adjustment.

The fixture includes 1,152 long-life ultra-bright SMD LEDs that generate 150W of soft, even light with an output of 4,800 lux at 1 meter. Its wide 69° half-peak beam angle makes it suitable as a key light, head light, or background light in professional production environments.

Accurate Bi-Color Performance and Smooth Control

The PL-S150L provides continuous color temperature adjustment from 2700K to 6500K while maintaining its full 150W output across the entire range. High-quality surface-mounted LEDs achieve CRI 97, TLCI 99, and SSI (D55) 73, helping cameras reproduce accurate and natural colors.

An exponential dimming curve delivers exceptionally smooth brightness adjustment, especially at low output levels. The 1% dimming level equals only 0.3% of maximum brightness, creating natural light transitions that match human visual perception.

The rear LCD display shows brightness, color temperature, DMX address, and group settings. Users can quickly configure DMX512 control modes, assign DMX addresses, or switch between DMX console operation and group interactive control directly from the control panel.

Silent Operation with Flexible Power Options

The fanless cooling system operates completely silently, making the light suitable for interviews, live broadcasts, and video productions where background noise must remain minimal.

The fixture supports 3-pin XLR DC 12-36V input and includes an onboard V-mount battery plate for mobile operation. An AC-DC power adapter is supplied and mounts directly onto the V-mount plate for clean installation.

The PL-S150L also meets IEC 62471:2008 Photobiological Safety standards with an “Exempt – No Photobiological Hazard” certification. It emits no harmful ultraviolet radiation, excessive blue light, or flicker, making it suitable for sensitive locations such as museums, churches, and historic buildings. A two-leaf metal barn door is included, while a two-cup pole-operated pan-and-tilt yoke is available as an optional accessory.
