Powerful Video Switching and Scene Control

The RØDECaster Video gives you simultaneous control over six different video feeds. You can cut between shots instantly or apply fades, dips, and wipes with fully customisable transitions. Furthermore, it is the first console of its kind to offer an intuitive scene-based switching architecture. This makes it easy to configure complex multi-source video layouts and switch to them at the press of a button. A live preview of each feed lets you see exactly what is coming before you make the switch.

Integrated Professional Audio

The RØDECaster Video mixes, processes, and routes up to nine audio sources at once. Each channel has access to a full suite of studio-grade effects and processors powered by APHEX®, so you can sculpt your sound and deliver polished results every time. You can also create custom routings for each of your guests, for your recording, and for your audience mix. Additionally, Revolution Preamps™ let you record XLR and 1/4-inch equipment with ultra-low noise and high gain.

Streaming, Recording, and NDI Support

Stream directly to Twitch, YouTube, or your favourite platform via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB. Custom audio routing lets you send a different mix to your audience, your headphones, and your recording at the same time. You can also record your entire production to a connected hard drive or USB storage device and capture each video and audio source independently for full post-production flexibility. Furthermore, NDI support extends to the RØDE Capture app, instantly turning your iPhone’s front and rear cameras into a multi-angle source.

Hands-Free Auto-Switching and Multiview

Intelligent auto-switching automatically switches camera angles based on who is talking. So you do not need a dedicated producer for video podcasts, panel shows, or live discussions. The comprehensive multiview display shows previews of every input, scene, and feed alongside recording, streaming, and audio information — all in one screen.

Expanded Connectivity

Two flexible USB-C ports let you connect compatible webcams, capture cards, UVC video devices, RØDE USB microphones, and even the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo. Four HDMI inputs capture video sources, while HDMI outputs let you monitor via preview, multiview, or program feeds. Two headphone outputs with custom mixes and speaker outputs round out the monitoring options.

Streamlined Post-Production

The RØDECaster Video supports seamless EDL export for DaVinci Resolve. This automatically imports your switch points, transitions, media, overlays, and full timeline data directly into your edit. As a result, you eliminate the need to manually rebuild your production in post.

Intuitive Interface and Wireless Control

The large high-resolution touchscreen and versatile rotary encoder give you hands-on control over every aspect of your production. For setups where you cannot be close to the console, the RØDECaster App provides complete wireless remote control from your computer. The app also includes a scene builder, audio mixer, and advanced configuration settings to help you craft the perfect production.
