C-Stand With Turtle Base

The NEEWER SC172 is a heavy duty 100% stainless steel C stand built for professional studio and location use. It provides a solid and reliable mounting solution for monolights, LED video lights, softboxes, reflectors, photography umbrellas, and other equipment. With a 20kg load capacity and a robust three-section telescopic center column, it handles demanding setups with confidence.

Extendable Center Column and Spring Protection

The adjustable center column covers a height range of 38″ to 68″ / 97 to 172cm for low-angle and standard photography and video recording. The three telescopic sections measure 35mm, 30mm, and 25mm in diameter respectively, making the column strong enough to support up to 44 lbs / 20kg of equipment. Spring cushions inside the center column protect your mounted devices from shocks and impact, and also prevent your hands from being pinched when loosening the screw knobs.

Extension Grip Arm and Dual Grip Heads

The 33″ / 83cm extension grip boom arm comes with two grip heads, each featuring four different sized holes to lock rods, arms, and umbrella shafts at free angle adjustments. The boom arm includes 1/4″ and 3/8″ screws for compatibility with a wide range of equipment and accessories up to 17.6 lbs / 8kg. As a result, the SC172 gives you flexible and reliable mounting options for a variety of production setups.

Folding Turtle Base for Easy Storage

The turtle base folds flat for compact and easy storage between shoots. Nonslip rubber feet protect the floor from scratches and keep the stand stable during use. Furthermore, sandbags (sold separately) can be placed on the turtle base for increased stability in demanding or outdoor environments.
