6-Way Stereo Distribution

The Sonifex RB-DA6 is a high-performance 1U rack-mount stereo distribution amplifier designed to split one audio source across multiple outputs. It features one stereo input and six stereo outputs, making it suitable for professional audio distribution setups. The unit can also distribute one mono input to twelve outputs through its selectable mono mode.

Flexible Distribution Modes

The RB-DA6 supports six stereo or twelve mono distribution outputs. A recessed front-panel switch lets you select the mono distribution mode while helping prevent accidental changes. The unit includes two balanced analogue inputs and twelve balanced analogue outputs through XLR-3 connections. You can also wire these connections for unbalanced operation.

Reliable Signal Management

Each output uses individual buffering to maintain reliable operation across the distribution system. If a short circuit affects one output, the other outputs continue to operate independently. Left and right input gain controls use preset potentiometers that you can access from the front panel for signal normalization.

Adjustable Output Gain

The output gain can be adjusted from -8dB to 18dB. This range helps normalize both consumer and professional audio signals, with outputs of -15dBu and 0dBu respectively. The 1U rack-mount design also supports clean integration into professional audio systems.
