Compact Softness for Run-and-Gun Shooting

The LS 60 Softbox is designed to work in tandem with the LS 60d and LS 60x, transforming the focusable point-source lights into the perfect compact soft lighting tool. With 35cm (14in) sides, the square LS 60 Softbox has a diffusion area larger than a 1×1 LED panel, making it ideal for a run-and-gun key, fill, or backlight while maintaining the lightweight, compact nature of the LS 60 series lights.

Multiple Diffusion Options and Light Control

With its two included front diffusions, the LS 60 Softbox allows filmmakers to choose the density and softness of their light source, matching the 1.5 and 2.5 stop diffusion fabrics of the Light Dome II and Light Dome SE. Following Aputure’s philosophy of ultimate light control, the LS 60 Softbox includes a fabric light control grid with a 45° beam angle to give the soft light direction and minimize excess spill.

Portable Design for Filmmakers on the Go

The LS 60 Softbox features a simple four-rod assembly that packs flat for travel. The softbox mounts directly to LS 60 series lights via the LS 60 Mini Mount speed ring adapter. It includes a carrying bag and weighs only 420g (0.93lbs), making it the perfect companion for location shoots, documentary filmmaking, and run-and-gun production.
