CF16 Motorized Fresnel

The Motorized CF16 Fresnel features a 16-inch diameter lens and an Aputure Mount. It is designed for the STORM XT52 and provides an 18º to 50º spot-flood range. The Fresnel can intensify the native STORM XT52 light output by up to seven times. Its compact and lightweight design uses an internal focusing system that creates smooth falloff from the center to the edge.

Dual-Expanding Focus System

The Motorized CF16 Fresnel uses a motorized dual-expanding focusing system. The internal mechanism increases the distance between the rear and front elements while keeping the overall Fresnel compact. The system also allows precise focusing from the lamp head or remotely through Sidus Link, Sidus Link Pro, or a lighting control console via DMX.

Barn Doors and Manual Focus

The included CF16 Barn Doors provide additional control over the STORM XT52 output. The 8-leaf design also includes a holder for a scrim. Users can operate the Motorized CF16 Fresnel manually with the separately available CF16 Fresnel Manual Focus Cover. The cover must be installed for safe operation because it drives the Fresnel’s onboard fans and maintains its IP65 rating.

Storage and Transport

The Motorized CF16 Fresnel and CF16 Barn Doors fit into the CF16 Rolling Case or Flight Case for storage and transportation. The CF16 also carries an IP65 weather-resistant rating.
