Designed specifically for filmmakers and event professionals, this groundbreaking LED bulb combines the convenience of a standard light bulb with the performance demands of high-end production lighting. Powered by Astera’s Titan LED engine, it reproduces colors and white tones with exceptional accuracy, boasting ultra-high CRI and TLCI ratings. Available in white and black finishes.

Dual Power Input — Maximum Flexibility

The NYX Bulb is engineered to work in any environment with two power input options:

• AC Power: Screw the NYX Bulb into any standard lamp socket just like a regular bulb. Available in three socket versions to comply with international standards: E26, E27, and B22.
• DC Power: A built-in DC socket (5–18VDC) allows operation wherever AC power is unavailable. Compatible with the Astera PowerStation, standard power banks, and D-tap batteries via an optional adapter cable — providing several hours of cordless runtime.

The black NYX Bulb is specifically designed to blend into dark environments such as stages and ceilings, while delivering the exact same brightness and features as its white counterpart.

PowerStation — Optional Accessory

Get the most out of your NYX Bulbs with the optional PowerStation accessory. It serves as an external battery to power a NYX Bulb for several hours, while also offering multiple mounting options:

• Add grips via Airline Tracks
• Suspend via PowerStation Hanger
• Attach to metal surfaces via backside magnets

PowerStation also functions as an external display and control panel, allowing you to set colors, brightness, runtime, DMX addresses and more. Once disconnected, the bulb remembers its settings for standalone use without the PowerStation.

Accessories & Beam Modification

• D-Tap Split Cable: Power up to 8 NYX Bulbs from a single 14.4V V-mount battery with D-tap socket via 1.5m cables.
• CupBouncer: Attaches via suction cup to the NYX Bulb and reflects light back towards the base, illuminating lamp shades more evenly without a hot spot on top.
• SnapBag: Controls and softens the wide spread beam with an included grid cloth for even more diffused output.

AsteraApp Features

• Effects: Build programs from colors and effects, trigger them, match them to a beat, and combine multiple programs and lights into scenes.
• Talkback+: Detect all available lights, set them up, check their status, and configure DMX addresses and DMX profiles.
• Seamless Runtime: Limits power output to extend battery runtime. Calibrated to work with PowerStation — set it to 20 hours and it will last exactly that long.
