Astera HydraPanel Small LED Panel

The Astera HydraPanel is a compact and highly flexible LED lighting solution designed for film, television, studio, and event production environments. Powered by the full-spectrum Titan LED Engine, the fixture delivers up to 1300 lumens while operating on internal battery power, providing reliable illumination with advanced color performance.

Its modular design, magnetic light modifiers, and broad mounting compatibility allow the HydraPanel to adapt to a wide range of creative lighting applications. The fixture combines portability, wireless connectivity, and precision lighting control in a compact professional format.

Flexible Beam Shaping System

The HydraPanel includes six magnetic light modifiers that quickly attach via integrated magnetic corners. These modifiers allow users to adjust beam spread from 40° to 100° for soft lighting, focused illumination, spill control, and close-up applications.

Included modifiers consist of DiffusorSheet 100, SoftFrame 100, Intensifier 80, EggCrate 40, EggCrate 60, and GelHolder. Optional accessories such as the DOP Choice SnapBag further expand lighting control possibilities.

Modular Multi-Panel Configuration

Using the included ConnectorPlate, up to four HydraPanels can be attached together to create a larger 0.5 x 1 foot lighting panel. The included Babypin simplifies mounting onto professional grip equipment and studio supports.

Astera SyncControl technology enables connected fixtures to communicate with one another, allowing brightness and color adjustments from one control panel to automatically synchronize across all linked units.

Creative Pixel Effects

The HydraPanel features six individually controllable pixels that support dynamic lighting effects and animated scenes. Built-in effects such as Police, Fire, and Welding can be customized for production requirements.

When multiple panels are connected, pixel effects can extend seamlessly across several fixtures to create larger synchronized visual effects for stage and cinematic lighting.

TouchSlider Interface and Runtime Management

The integrated TouchSlider interface allows fast adjustment of color settings, brightness levels, DMX addressing, and fixture numbering. Swipe and tap controls simplify navigation and value confirmation directly from the fixture.

Seamless Runtime technology enables users to select a target operating duration. The system intelligently limits output to maximize brightness while ensuring the battery lasts throughout production schedules.

Advanced Control Options

The HydraPanel supports multiple control methods for professional production workflows. AsteraApp provides wireless app-based setup, monitoring, and lighting management for complex installations.

Integrated LumenRadio wireless DMX technology enables compatibility with CRMX and W-DMX transmitters. Wired control is also supported through Astera PowerBox systems using DMX, Art-Net, and sACN protocols.

Integrated Production Features

Additional professional features include programmable scenes, beat synchronization, Talkback+ fixture management, anti-theft alarm functionality, and emergency light operation that automatically activates during power loss situations.

Versatile Mounting Options

The HydraPanel supports numerous installation methods through the included FlexBase, Babypin, integrated magnets, rear M5 threads, and compatibility with clamps, Gobo heads, walls, ceilings, and suspended rigging setups.
