Helios Tube Light Kit

The Astera Helios Tube delivers all the features of the popular Titan Tube in a smaller, more portable format. With 8 pixels, just over half the length of the Titan Tube, and half its brightness, the Helios Tube is the ideal solution for mounting in areas where a Titan Tube wouldn’t fit. Colors and brightness are perfectly matched to those of the Titan Tube, ensuring seamless integration in mixed setups.

Built-in Battery & Seamless Runtime

The Helios Tube features a powerful built-in battery, delivering reliable cordless operation throughout your production. When displaying white light at maximum brightness, the battery lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes. With Astera’s Seamless Runtime technology, you can select a specific runtime duration to ensure your lights never run out of battery mid-production — the system automatically limits output to deliver the maximum possible brightness for the selected duration.

Advanced App Features

• Effects: Quickly build programs from colors and effects, trigger them, match them to a beat, and combine multiple programs and lights into full scenes.
• Talkback+: Detect all available lights, set them up, check their status, and configure DMX addresses and DMX profiles.
• Anti-Theft: When enabled, the integrated theft alarm triggers a visual and audible alert if lights are moved, with the alarm also displayed in the AsteraApp.
• Emergency Light: The Helios Tube can double as a battery-powered emergency light — when activated, it detects power loss and instantly switches to bright white light to illuminate the venue.

Wiring & Power Options

• Titan PowerBox: Essential accessory to charge or install up to 10 Titan Tube or Helios Tube units for longer operation, with wired DMX, Artnet and sACN data transfer support. The PowerBox 2x86W is also compatible, connecting up to 2 lights at a time.
• Titan Power/Data Combination Cable: Connects the Helios Tube to the PowerBox via a single cable carrying both power and data. Available in lengths of 1.5m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 200mm / 5ft, 8ft, 15ft, 30ft & 45ft.
• DataLink: A data injector for wired DMX connections, useful when no Titan PowerBox is available or when working with multiple DMX universes on one PowerBox. Requires one Titan or Hyperion PSU per tube.
• Individual Power Supply: AC to DC converter to charge or wire a single Helios Tube. Comes with EU, US and UK adapters, accepts 110–240VDC, with 24VDC 2A output and 1m cable length.
• Extension Cable: Adds 5m of cable length to your power supply. Male to female cable, compatible with Titan, Helios and Hyperion.

Control Options

• AsteraApp: Intuitive and fast control of complex lighting setups, used for preparation, control and monitoring.
• Wireless DMX: Built-in LumenRadio wireless DMX module supports CRMX and W-DMX transmitters. The AsteraBox can be used to transmit DMX data wirelessly to your lights.
• Wired DMX: Connect DMX, Artnet or sACN to an Astera PowerBox and link lights via Power/Data combination cable.
• On-Light Control Panel: Dedicated buttons offer direct control over brightness and HSI colors directly on the fixture.

Mounting Accessories

• Tube Stand: Foldable tripod with M5 thread for vertical tube setup. Compatible with Titan Tube, Helios Tube and AX1 PixelTube.
• Tube Holder: Grip mount with BabyPin and 1/4″-20 thread for Super Clamps and Gobo Heads. Includes locking pin.
• EyeBolt: M5 thread eyebolt compatible with Astera tubes and a wide range of other Astera products. Also serves as a safety mounting point.
• Wing Plate: Mounting plate for single-point attachment or connecting 2 tubes to form lines, triangles, squares and more. Front side takes 2 TubeHolders (included), backside has a 1/4″-20 thread for BabyPin.
• Cross Plate: Attach up to four WingPlates to create a 4-bank or panel effect. Features a welded BabyPin on the backside for a reliable grip.
• Helios Handle: Screw-on handle for handheld use, with a 5/8″ BabyPin for mounting. Not compatible with heavier tubes.
