Heavy Duty Wind-Up Stand

The KUPO Heavy Duty Wind-Up Stand series comes in two variants — the 484 and the 485 Low Base. Both handle loads of up to 80kg. Both use stainless steel and chrome-plated steel construction. And both give you safe, precise height control on any professional set.

484 – Heavy Duty Wind-Up Stand

The 484 extends from 179cm to 386cm via dual risers. It handles loads up to 80kg using an oversized slip-free hand-crank. The automatic self-locking mechanism stops the stand from dropping without warning. Furthermore, the auto-locking safety system gives you precise control at every height. The stainless steel center tube, legs, and U-shape struts add long-term strength. Meanwhile, the chrome-plated top two sections provide extra stability at full height.

A 28mm socket with three side holes fits a wind bracing kit. The foot step uses a skidproof texture to grip the ground firmly. Braked casters come included. Additionally, the optional pneumatic wheel set (KC-215A) makes outdoor movement effortless.

485 – Heavy Duty Wind-Up Low Base Stand

The 485 Low Base is built for tight spaces. It fits up to 80kg / 176.3 lbs into a compact 130cm / 51.2″ footprint. As a result, it works well on crowded sets where space is limited. The dual risers extend from 140.5cm to 270cm, making it ideal for low and mid-level fixture work.

It shares the same stainless steel and chrome-plated steel construction as the 484. It also features the same automatic self-locking mechanism, auto-locking safety system, 28mm wind bracing socket, and skidproof foot step. In addition, braked casters come included, and the optional pneumatic wheel set (KC-215A) is also available.
