Description

FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS

The Sony FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS Lens covers a wide range of shooting needs with its 24-105mm focal range and constant F4 aperture. Use it for portraits, snapshots, landscapes, architecture, and more. Its broad zoom range helps you work with one lens and carry less equipment.

High-Resolution Optical Performance

Four aspherical elements, including two high-precision AA elements, help suppress distortion while maintaining strong resolution across the entire zoom range. Three ED glass elements reduce chromatic aberration and support sharp images with natural color from the center to the edges. Sony’s Nano AR Coating helps reduce flare and ghosting caused by unwanted reflections, supporting clear, high-contrast images in challenging light.

Smooth Bokeh and Flexible Shooting

A circular aperture and precise control of spherical aberration create a balanced combination of sharp detail and smooth bokeh. The compact 663-gram design supports easy handling and mobility with E-mount camera bodies. A minimum focus distance of 0.38 meters and built-in optical image stabilization add to the lens’s versatility.

Reliable Performance for Stills and Movies

The constant F4 aperture maintains consistent brightness throughout the zoom range. Sony’s Direct Drive SSM AF system delivers fast, precise, and quiet focusing. The optical design also helps minimise focus breathing, making the lens suitable for both still photography and movie production.

Practical Controls and Protection

The focus hold button, manual focus ring, and AF/MF switch provide smooth fingertip control. You can customize the focus hold button through the camera body menu and assign it to different functions. A fluorine coating on the front element helps reduce the adhesion of dirt and fingerprints and makes the surface easier to clean.
