Alpha 6400 E-mount Camera

The Sony Alpha 6400 features a 24.2MP APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor with BIONZ X processing and an ultra-fast autofocus system that locks on in just 0.02 seconds. A total of 425 phase-detection and 425 contrast-detection AF points work together with High-density AF Tracking Technology to follow even the most erratic subjects. AF operates effectively down to EV-2 in low light, and a peaking function with blue, red, yellow and white highlights helps with manual focus — especially for portraits.

Real-Time Tracking & Eye AF

Real-time Tracking analyses colour, patterns and depth to maintain a reliable lock on your subject. Real-time Eye AF detects and focuses on human eyes instantly on half-press, with left/right eye selection available manually or automatically. AF-C mode maintains stable focus even on backlit or partially hidden faces.

High-Speed Shooting & 4K Video

Shoot continuously at up to 11fps, or use the silent shutter for a quiet 8fps. ISO ranges from 100 to 32,000 (expandable to 102,400) for excellent low-noise performance in any environment. 4K recording uses full pixel readout with 6K oversampling for incredible depth and clarity. Full HD 120p slow motion up to 5x and quick motion up to 60x are available in-camera. S-Log3 and S-Log2 offer up to 14 stops of latitude for expert colour grading, alongside HLG for HDR video. Clean HDMI output, zebra functions and simultaneous proxy recording complete the professional video toolkit.

Design, Display & Connectivity

The 180° tiltable 3.0-type 921k-dot touch LCD is ideal for vlogging and self-portraits. Touch Focus, Touch Shutter and Touch Tracking make operation intuitive. The XGA OLED Tru-Finder delivers 2,359,296 dots with a 120fps display for accurate colours in any light. Built-in Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth connect to the Imaging Edge Mobile app for remote control and instant sharing. The rigid magnesium alloy body with dust and moisture resistant seals is built to last, with a shutter tested for 200,000 cycles. Eight customisable keys support nearly 89 shooting and replay options.
