BLAIR: The Best Tunable White Light

The Aputure STORM 700x utilizes the revolutionary BLAIR (Blue/Lime/Amber/Indigo/Red) light engine, delivering the highest quality white light and greatest +/- green adjustability of any LED technology. The BLAIR light engine’s indigo emitters enhance fluorescing materials like natural daylight and tungsten sources, achieving CRI and TLCI scores of ≥95, SSI (Tungsten) of 87, and SSI (D56) of 87.

Color Tuning and High Output

The BLAIR light engine can output saturated colors across more than 70% of Rec.2020 color space using Limited HSIC+ and x,y control modes, allowing you to achieve deep crimson sunsets, rich sodium vapor ambers, and subtle color effects without gels. The STORM 700x is brighter than any other point source LED light in its power range, weighing just 5.15kg. Paired with the CF10 Fresnel lens, it delivers output over 19,000 lux at 3 meters.

Professional Features for Extreme Environments

With head-to-toe IP65 dust and weather protection, the STORM 700x can work in extreme environments. Seals on every connector and around components allow the lamphead, control box, and cabling to be used outside in the rain. The ProLock Locking Bowens Mount holds modifiers and optics rigidly in place, ensuring even the heaviest modifiers stay secure. Control options include on-board controls, Sidus Link App, Sidus Link Pro App, DMX/RDM, and built-in CRMX (TimoTwo module).

Available Configurations: Standalone vs Cine Kit

The STORM 700x is available in two configurations. The standalone version includes the lamp head, control box, cables, 35° reflector, and lightning clamp – perfect for users who already own compatible modifiers. The Cine Kit adds the CF10 Fresnel (2.45kg), CF10 barn doors (1.40kg), and STORM 700x skid base (0.80kg), providing a complete, studio-ready package. The fully built Cine Kit lamp head measures 60.9 x 35.9 x 35.1 cm and weighs 9.10 kg. Choose the standalone version for maximum portability and flexibility, or the Cine Kit for a turnkey solution with professional optical control right out of the box.
