40″ Turtle Base Master Century Stand

Built for professional grip setups, the KUPO 40″ Turtle Base Master Century Stand combines a quick-locking turtle base, double riser stand, and 40″ grip arm with hex stud.

Quick-Locking Turtle Base Design

The stand features a unique spring-locking rig system that lets users open or collapse the base legs in under two seconds. Its removable riser section makes transport easier, while the base supports a stand adapter for low mounting positions. The base has three different leg heights, allowing users to stack or nest multiple bases with their risers only inches apart. This design supports close-proximity mounting of lights and grip equipment and simplifies storage.

Double Riser Construction

The 40″ double riser stand includes two telescoping risers and one main section, providing a total section height of 295 cm (9.7′). Add the base height to calculate the maximum overall height. A zinc alloy base casting offers five times the strength of aluminum and supports the weight of heavy stand bags and people standing on it. Aluminum cast locking collars use stainless steel Helicoils to protect the aluminum from damage caused by the stainless steel locking bolts. A steel baby stud is welded directly to the top section instead of being pinned. The stand also features a sizeable brake shoe for improved locking and foot pads on the legs to protect both the legs and the ground.

40″ Grip Arm with Hex Stud

The included 40″ grip arm features a 5/8″ (16 mm) diameter steel tube with a faceted hex stud at the end to help keep lighting fixtures in position. Its machined surface creates a rough, non-slip texture. The arm includes a 2-1/2″ grip head with two rotating aluminum discs attached to a 5/8″ (16 mm) receiver. Four different V-shaped jaw sizes accommodate accessories with 5/8″, 1/2″, 3/8″, or 1/4″ mounting studs or tubing. Teeth inside the jaws grip mounted accessories securely. An oversized ergonomic T-handle and dedicated roller bearings help deliver maximum torque.
