6.6″ x 6.6″ Diopter Tray Mount Close-Up Filter

Created for cinematography, our tray mount close-up lenses can be quickly inserted into the matte box, allowing for a closer focus than can be achieved by the cine lens in use. The Diopter Tray Mount Close-Up Lens utilizes a 158mm diameter diopter plano convex lens, which is mounted in a filter tray specifically designed to fit in 6.6″ x 6.6″ Matte Boxes. Additionally, a broadband multi-layer anti-reflection coating (MC Coating) is applied, which helps to minimize flare and ghost reflections.

Furthermore, 1/4-20 threaded holes are provided on the camera side of the tray, allowing for mounting on flex arms. This feature enables the close-up lens to be tilted, offering creative possibilities for various effects.
