Brilliant Tray Diopter

The Lindsey Optics 4″ x 5.65″ Diopter Brilliant Tray Mount Close-Up Lens helps cinematographers capture high-quality close-up images with professional cinema cameras. Lindsey Optics mounts its 138mm close-up lens inside a 4″ x 5.65″ matte box tray, creating a large 5.1-inch clear aperture that supports large-diameter and wide-angle lenses. The tray design allows fast lens changes in both clip-on and rod-mounted matte boxes, making it ideal for demanding production environments.

Large Clear Aperture with Premium Optics

The integrated 138mm diopter provides a generous 5.1-inch clear aperture for excellent compatibility with large cinema lenses. A Broadband Multi-Layer Anti-Reflection (MC) Coating reduces flare, minimizes reflections, and helps prevent ghost images while maintaining high image quality.

Fast Installation and Wide Compatibility

The tray mounts directly into professional 4″ x 5.65″ matte boxes for quick installation and lens changes. Brilliant Tray Mount Close-Up Lenses are available in +1/8, +1/4, +1/2, +1, +2, and +3 diopter strengths. The +1/8, +1/4, +1/2, and +1 versions occupy one matte box slot, the +2 version uses two slots, and the +3 version uses three slots. These diopters fit professional matte boxes from ARRI™, Bright Tangerine™, Chrosziel™, Vocas™, and other compatible 4″ x 5.65″ systems. They are not compatible with RedRock Micro™ matte boxes.
