The OConnor Camera Assistant Bag is purpose-built for the safe and comfortable transportation of OConnor fluid heads and camera accessories. It combines professional-grade waterproofing, smart organization, and versatile carrying options into one durable on-set bag. Whether you are moving between setups or storing your kit between shoots, this bag keeps everything protected and accessible.

Superior Waterproof Protection

The bag features a water and dust proof liner with no internal base seams, protecting your gear from both ground water and rain. The internal double skin waterproofing is rated to 1.2m / 4ft column of water, while the tough outer fabric and zips are also waterproof and wipeable. The hinged lid can be fixed open using lid stays connected to the inner liner or D rings, so you can access your equipment freely on set while everything inside stays protected.

Smart Organization and Secure Fixing

Five heavy-duty dividers with double-sided velcro fixings securely hold all OConnor heads and accessories inside the bag. They also feature additional elasticated fixing points for pan bars, Arri plates, and other accessories. Two right-angled dividers provide extra fixing options for additional accessories. Durable clear mesh pockets on the lid and inside the front pocket let you see contents at a glance. A slate pocket, document holder, call sheet pocket, and business card holder with cover add further organization on set.

Versatile Carrying Options

Additional D ring fixing points on the front and back of the bag enable sherpa-style carrying using the included genuine leather strap. This spreads the weight of the bag across the carrier’s back rather than hanging it from the shoulders, making it more comfortable for heavy loads. The D rings also provide fixing points for additional rucksack straps and carabiner hooks. A fixing point on the back of the bag accommodates a pouch for on-set use, and the bag fits neatly into a standard Pelicase 1620.
