The Samyang 35mm F1.4 AS UMC is a fast, wide-angle, manual focus prime lens designed for full-frame cameras and APS-C sensors. As a professional-grade prime lens, it delivers exceptional resolution and sharpness, thanks to its outstanding optical construction.

Specifically designed for SLR and DSLR cameras, the Samyang 35mm F1.4 AS UMC lens offers versatile applications. On a full-frame camera, the 35mm focal length works universally, making it ideal for landscape photography, journalism, and everyday scenarios.

The wide apertures of the 35mm lens produce beautiful bokeh, making it perfect for portrait applications where ultra-smooth out-of-focus backgrounds or foregrounds are preferred. This technique effectively separates the subject from the background, producing pleasing, professional results. Thanks to its 8-blade aperture design, the bokeh created by the Samyang 35mm lens remains exceptionally smooth.

The optical design of the Samyang 35mm F1.4 UMC lens consists of 12 elements arranged in 10 groups, including 2 high-refractive lenses (HR). The inclusion of an aspherical glass lens (ASP) minimizes color aberrations, while the Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) ensures high contrast and accurate color reproduction. Furthermore, the lens features a floating system that preserves high image quality and resolution even at close focusing distances.

For Canon cameras, the Samyang 35mm F1.4 AS UMC lens includes an aperture control motor and CPU chip to assist with Auto Exposure (AE). Thanks to these components, users can control the aperture directly from the camera body. Additionally, the lens provides focus guidance with an indicator light.

The lens comes with front and rear lens caps, a petal-type lens hood (which is reversible for easy transport), and a soft lens pouch. The filter size is 77mm.
