Ace XL Tripod System
Capture smooth shots with Sachtler Ace XL Mark II Aluminum Tripod System With Fluid Head. This lightweight, compact system combines precise counterbalance, smooth drag adjustments, and consistent performance for shooting in urban settings or the wilderness.
Smooth Control and Camera Balance
The Ace XL supports camera rigs weighing up to 8 kg (17.6 lb) and offers nine counterbalance steps to match your camera payload. Its 104 mm (4.1 in) sliding balance plate range helps you position accessorized cameras centrally. Camera plate markers simplify setup, while quick pan and tilt adjustments help you respond to changing shots.
Sachtler drag provides smooth movement across different temperatures, with 3 + 0 drag steps. The illuminated level bubble helps you keep the system level in different locations. A detachable threaded stud lets you switch to a slider when needed.
The complete Ace XL system weighs 4.4 kg (9.7 lb). Its compact, lightweight design helps you move between locations and capture unexpected shooting opportunities. Precision-engineered drag segments and rigorously tested materials support consistent performance.
Aluminum Tripod and Spreader Options
The Ace XL AL MS system includes a lightweight, two-stage aluminum tripod with a 75 mm bowl. Three 3/8-inch accessory mounting points on the tripod bowl let you add accessories such as a Magic Arm. You can also attach the carry handle to help you move quickly between shots.
Choose between the Ground Spreader and Mid-Level Spreader options. The detachable, flowtech-style mid-level spreader helps maintain stability on uneven terrain. The system includes an Ace bag for protection during transport.
