Aktiv 8 Flowtech Tripod System

Professional Performance in a Lightweight Package

The Sachtler aktiv8 and aktiv8T flowtech75 systems combine lightweight carbon fibre construction with professional-grade performance. Weighing as little as 6.3 kg (13.9 lbs), these systems are designed to be long-serving, high-performing parts of your kit. Perfect for professional medium-sized camcorders and digital cine camera setups up to 12 kg (26.5 lbs), these tripod systems deliver the reliability Sachtler is known for.

Precision Balance and Smooth Movement

Both systems feature 15 counterbalance steps (plus 0) allowing fast and precise balancing of your camera. Seven drag settings (plus 0) provide smooth, fast-to-adjust drag performance without jolts or vibrations. The illuminated PrismBubble with top or side view makes levelling easy from any height, even in low-light conditions. The tilt range spans 90° to -70° for flexible shooting angles. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F).

Choose Your Configuration

Select between the aktiv8T with Touch & Go interface (60mm sliding range) or the aktiv8 with Sideload interface (120mm sliding range) for quick camera mounting. Spreader options include a mid-level spreader or ground spreader. The ground spreader configuration offers a lower minimum height of 56 cm (22.05 in) compared to 79 cm (31.1 in) with the mid-level spreader. All configurations include the flowtech75 aktiv carbon fibre tripod with two stages, a carry handle, padded bag, and one DV 75 right pan bar.
