Powered by the proprietary Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec (SePAC), the system offers an exceptional 136 dB input dynamic range, eliminating the need for manual gain adjustment on transmitters. This ensures consistent, distortion-free sound from whisper-quiet speech to powerful vocals, making it ideal for fast-paced professional workflows.

The AutoScan feature intelligently analyzes the RF environment and automatically deploys clean, equidistant frequencies without requiring RF expertise. With support for Standard Mode and Link Density (LD) Mode, users can easily scale from small setups to high-channel-count productions while maintaining intermodulation-free performance.

Designed for modern, networked productions, the EW-DX system integrates seamlessly with SoundBase software, Sennheiser Control Cockpit, Wireless System Manager, and third-party media control platforms. Remote control via the Smart Assist App over Bluetooth® Low Energy allows quick setup and adjustments from up to 25 meters away.

Security is uncompromised, with AES-256 encryption and Dante Media Encryption providing robust protection against signal interception. The system also delivers ultra-low latency of just 1.9 ms, making it suitable for live broadcast, performance, and monitoring-critical applications.

Each handheld transmitter features intuitive function buttons, a persistent E-Ink display for always-on visibility, and a rechargeable BA 70 lithium-ion battery offering up to 12 hours of operation. The Sennheiser Standard Capsule Interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of Sennheiser and Neumann capsules, allowing flexible sonic customization.

With up to 88 MHz switching bandwidth, worldwide frequency availability (subject to local regulations), and versatile charging options, the EW-DX 835-S Set is a future-ready wireless solution built for professional reliability and scalability.
