The Sony ZV-1 II helps you capture selfies, portraits, landscapes, and snapshots with its ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 18-50mm F1.8-4 zoom lens. Use 18mm for wide selfies and 50mm for portraits and snapshots. The F1.8 wide-angle and F4 telephoto maximum apertures create smooth background bokeh. The built-in ND filter controls exposure by three stops in bright light while maintaining sharpness across the zoom range.

My Image Style lets you adjust brightness and color while viewing your shot. Creative Look provides ten presets for different colors and moods. Cinematic Vlog Setting creates a Cinema scope 24 fps look, with five LOOKs, four MOODs, and three AF Transition Speed levels for more dramatic footage.

High-Quality Imaging

The compact 292 g camera uses a large 1.0-type Exmor RS CMOS sensor with a DRAM memory chip and approximately 20.1 effective megapixels. It records XAVC S 4K video up to 30p and Full HD slow motion up to 120p. Simultaneous proxy recording supports efficient post-production workflows. S-Log3 and S-Gamut3.Cine picture profiles provide greater dynamic range and post-production flexibility.

Real-time Tracking follows your selected subject using color, brightness, subject distance, and facial information. Touch Tracking starts precise focus tracking with a screen tap. Accurate autofocus recognizes human faces and eyes, while Eye AF can also track animal faces and eyes. Active Mode helps reduce camera blur when you shoot handheld while walking.

Natural Looks And Audio

The ZV-1 II captures natural skin tones without special settings. Face Priority AE automatically brightens your face, while Soft Skin Effect offers Off, Low, Mid, and High settings. Its Intelligent 3-Capsule Mic automatically switches from All Directions to Front when it detects a human face. You can manually select Front for selfies or Rear for narration. The supplied windscreen helps reduce wind noise outdoors.

You can connect external microphones to further improve audio. The ECM-G1 compact shotgun microphone attaches without a cable, while Sony offers a broad range of microphones for different applications.

Easy Vlogging Controls

The ZV-1 II uses an intuitive touch interface with recording, self-timer, and Product Showcase Setting controls on the main screen. Product Showcase Setting automatically focuses on the product you hold, while Bokeh Switch creates a softly blurred background. In iAUTO mode, selfies with two or three people automatically adjust settings to keep everyone’s faces sharp and clear.

A red recording lamp and red screen frame show when recording starts. The rotatable screen lets you monitor recording from different angles. Shot Marks let you select 15-, 30-, or 60-second clips for transfer to your smartphone and make important scenes easier to find later.

Portable Connected Streaming

At just 292 g, the compact camera makes everyday shooting easy to carry. The Creators’ App supports simple smartphone connection, background data transfers even when the phone display sleeps or another app opens, and remote camera control from a smartphone or PC. Connect a compatible device through USB to use the ZV-1 II as a high-quality web camera, with its 1.0-type sensor and Creative Look function delivering vibrant visuals.
