31.5″ 4K/8K HDR Studio Monitor

The SWIT BM-U325MD is a 31.5-inch 4K/UHD resolution 10-bit Mini-LED studio monitor featuring 2304 zones local dimming backlight, delivering 1500 nits high brightness and 1,000,000:1 high contrast ratio for true HDR productions. SWIT has customized the Mini-LED drivers with advanced algorithms to greatly restrain the halo effect and ensure H/V 178° full viewing angle.

The Mini-LED panel also adopts a Quantum Dot layer between the screen and LED backlight, which changes the LED spectrum to reduce blue light and balance R/G/B peaks, effectively reducing visual fatigue with a VICO score of 1.97 (A-class).

Multi 4K/8K Interfaces and Flexible Viewing Modes

The BM-U325MD features 12G-SDI 4-in 4-out supporting single link 4K, quad link 4K, and quad link 8K inputs with both SQD and 2SI modes. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0 (4K60P) and optional SFP Fiber for 12G-SDI or ST2110 IP input.

The monitor supports quad view with four independent 4K inputs, as well as PBP (Picture-by-Picture) and PIP (Picture-in-Picture) modes for convenient video production. Waveform, vector, HDR/SDR gamma selection, color gamut selection, and UMD displays are available for each input window.

Advanced HDR and Color Management

The BM-U325MD natively displays HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), Dolby Vision PQ, Sony S-Log3 HDR, and Gamma 2.4 HDR content. Input video Payload ID is automatically identified, with the monitor automatically setting HDR/SDR EOTFs, color gamut, input range, color space, and color depth. The monitor supports 1 input source copied to 4 windows displaying different HDR/SDR gamma and color gamut simultaneously for correct reference when producing HDR and SDR together.

Built-in multi-camera Log to HLG/PQ HDR or 709 SDR conversion 3DLUTs are included, and user creative 3DLUTs (17x17x17 cube) can be uploaded via USB.

Self-Calibration and Professional Monitoring Tools

The BM-U325MD features built-in 3DLUT calibration software supporting X-rite i1 and Jeti Specbos 1211 probes connected directly via USB. The monitor generates color patterns, reads color information, and generates a 3DLUT for self-calibration without a PC (calibration result: ΔE≤1.0).

Monitoring tools include waveform, vector, histogram, eye pattern, focus assist, false color, zebra, 16-channel audio meters, Lissajous pattern, and 5.1 & 7.1 surround sound phase patterns. IP webserver remote control is also supported.
