23.8-Inch QLED Wide Color Gamut Panel

The BM-H245 uses a 23.8-inch 1920×1080 QLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage. It delivers 400 nits of brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angle. Furthermore, a Quantum Dot layer between the LCD and LED backlight reduces blue light and balances R/G/B peaks. This stimulates cone cells evenly and reduces visual fatigue effectively. The panel achieves a VICO score of 1.97, A-class, making it ideal for long sessions of video editing and broadcast studio work.

Multi 4K Inputs and Display Modes

The BM-H245 provides four SDI inputs and two SDI loop outputs. It supports 12G-SDI single link 4K, 4x3G-SDI Quad Link 4K in SQD and 2SI formats, and HDMI 2.0 at 4K60P. You can also input four independent sources for multiview, two sources for Pic-by-Pic or Pic-in-Pic view, and mix 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI and HDMI 2.0/1.4/1.3 formats across inputs. In addition, each input has its own waveform, vector, audio meters, EOTF, and color gamut selection. The pixel-to-pixel zoom function also lets you zoom into a 4K signal on the FHD panel.

HDR/SDR and Color Gamut Control

The monitor supports HLG, Dolby Vision PQ, Sony S-Log3, and Gamma 1.0/1.8/2.2/2.4/2.6 SDR EOTFs. Color gamut selection covers LCD native, REC.709, DCI-P3, and REC.2020. Payload ID auto setting lets the monitor automatically configure HDR/SDR EOTFs, color gamut, input range, color space, and color depth based on the input signal. Moreover, the Multi CG and EOTF viewing mode copies one input to four windows and displays different HDR/SDR and color gamut settings simultaneously, helping you produce HDR and SDR content at the same time with accurate references.

3DLUT Self-Calibration and De-Log LUTs

Built-in 3DLUT calibration software supports X-rite i1 and JETI Specbos 1211 probes directly via USB. The monitor generates color patterns, the probe reads them, and the monitor automatically calibrates itself with a ΔE≤1.0 result. Calibration takes 15 minutes with the i1 and 45 minutes with the Specbos 1211 — all without a PC. Additionally, built-in de-log LUTs convert Log-C, C-Log, S-Log2, S-Log3, V-Log, J-Log1, RedLogFilm, and more to HLG1000, PQ1000, or Rec.709. You can also upload custom 17x17x17 3DLUT cube files via USB.

Audio, Power, and Remote Control

The BM-H245 displays up to 16 channels of embedded audio meters. It also supports Lissajous figures and 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound patterns. You can select any two channels to output via speaker or 3.5mm headphone socket. The monitor consumes 60W and accepts AC 100–240V input and 4-pin XLR DC 12–17V input. A V-mount battery plate is on the rear panel, with Gold Mount available as an option. IP webserver remote control via Ethernet lets you manage inputs, picture parameters, and function keys from a computer web browser without installing any app.
