AMARAN PT4C RGBWW Pixel Tube

The amaran PT4c is a 4-foot battery-powered pixel tube made for creators and filmmakers. It features multiple pixels, RGBWW color quality, Sidus Link app control, and simple mounting options. As amaran’s first pixelated tube light, it adds new creative options to lighting setups.

Flexible Pixel Lighting

Use the PT4c as an effects light, fill light, eye light, or practical light. It can add lighting effects to backgrounds, create unique effects for long-exposure photography, produce linear reflections across detailed sets for product cinematography, and add visual interest to stylized music videos and commercials.

The tube provides 16 independently controlled lighting zones. Its 7 pre-programmed Pixel FX create dynamic pixelated effects across the multiple pixels.

Accurate RGBWW Color

The RGBWW LED chipset lets you adjust the hue, saturation, and intensity of the pixel light. White point CCT ranges from 2,700K to 10,000K with full plus/minus green control. The PT4c provides CRI 95, TLCI 98, and Tungsten SSI 85 for accurate color reproduction.

Battery and Mounting

A 77Wh internal Lithium-ion battery powers the PT4c for up to 170 minutes. You can charge it through USB-C or use 32W PD Quick Charging. Full capacity takes approximately 3 hours. The built-in battery lets you place or hide the tube virtually anywhere without relying on a power cable.

The 5-sided end cap lets you position the pixel tube at five angles: 0º, 45º, 90º, 135º, and 180º. The included magnetic T12 brackets and 3/8-16in eye bolt provide additional mounting options.

Advanced Controls

The Sidus Link Bluetooth app lets you control Aputure and amaran lights in a scene, activate lighting effects, and keep the Pixel Tubes updated. For console-based control, the separately sold amaran Type-C to DMX Adapter with Type-C Input provides DMX control while charging the tube.

Production and Light Control

The PT4c 2-Light Production Kit provides additional accessories for setups that need more lights for in-camera practicals, symmetrical lighting for one or multiple subjects, and twice the output of a standalone fixture.

For additional control and reduced light spill, you can attach the separately sold collapsible 45º fabric light control grid with hook-and-loop straps. When used without the grid, the PT4c provides a wide 180° beam angle for broader coverage.
