Flexible Fabric Light

The AMARAN F21 and F22 series use ultra-lightweight, ultra-thin flexible LED mats for portable lighting and tight spaces. Their fabric design folds compactly and provides a soft light source for close-up key lighting. The 2’x2’ F22 models offer a larger surface area, while the 2’x1’ F21 models provide a more compact form factor.

The RGBWW F21C and F22C models add full-color control for creative lighting. The bi-color F21X and F22X models focus on adjustable white light.

Choose Your Fixture

F22C 2’x2′ RGBWW: The F22C features an integrated RGBWW chipsets with 2,500K–7,500K tunable CCT, green-magenta adjustment, 360º HSI control, 46 color gel presets, 15 built-in lighting effects, and 4 user-configurable preset buttons.

F22X 2’x2′ Bi-Color: The F22X provides 200W of output and produces 6,960+ lux at 1 meter. Its bi-color chipsets covers 2,500K–7,500K, with 0–100% stepless dimming, frequency selection for tuning out flicker, and 9 built-in lighting effects.

F21C 2’x1′ RGBWW: The F21C features an integrated RGBWW chipsets with 2,500K–7,500K tunable CCT, green-magenta adjustment, 360º HSI control, 46 color gel presets, 15 built-in lighting effects, and 4 user-configurable preset buttons.

F21X 2’x1′ Bi-Color: The F21X delivers 100W of output and produces 3,632+ lux at 1 meter. Its bi-color chipsets covers 2,500K–7,500K, with 0–100% stepless dimming and frequency selection for tuning out flicker.

X Bracket and Power

All four models feature the new and improved X Bracket. Its support tubes use a 2-stage spring-loaded design that keeps the mat stretched taut and the bracket attached. The bracket sets up easily, packs compactly, and includes an integrated knurled baby pin for mounting.

The F22C and F22X control boxes use multi-voltage V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plates compatible with 14.4V, 26V, 28.8V, and 48V batteries. The F21C and F21X support 14.4V, 26V, and 28.8V batteries. All four models can also achieve full output through AC power.

Soft Diffusion and Mounting

Each model includes a softbox, two strengths of diffusion cloths, and a light control grid. Integrated hook-and-loop fabric makes it easy to attach these modifiers. The F22C and F22X can also combine with the amaran F22 Lantern and light control skirt to extend the fixture as a volumetric lantern or pancake light. The F21C and F21X can combine with the amaran F21 Lantern and light control skirt for the same use.

The F21X can extend up to 6 meters from its compact control box. It achieves this by combining its integrated 3-meter head cable with the included 3-meter head cable extension.

Wireless and Professional Control

The Sidus Link app gives creators wireless control over the F21 and F22 models. Source Match, Color Picker, Gel Control, and Custom FX tools help manage the lighting design. Each model can also use wired DMX through the USB-C to 5-Pin DMX512 In & Out Adapter, which is sold separately.
