Quick Dome 40

The APUTURE Quick Dome 40 is a 40cm circular Mini ProLock softbox designed for the STORM 80c. Its quick-release latch on the speed ring lets you tension all 8 support rods within seconds. This makes setup simple for handheld, mounted, and tight-angle lighting where working space is very limited.

Focused Soft Light

The deep parabolic profile and highly reflective silver inner lining create soft, focused light with smooth luminance from the center to the edge. The design maintains uniform light distribution even when you position the softbox just inches from a subject. Its rounded octagonal shape also creates circular reflections.

Flexible Light Control

The Quick Dome 40 includes 1-stop and 2-stop front diffusion cloths plus a 40º fabric light control grid. These options let creators adjust softness and light spill for tabletop compositions, tight interview framing, and detailed product work. The compact and lightweight design packs flat into the included carrying bag for easy transport and rapid deployment. As the smallest member of the Quick Dome family, it provides soft light shaping for close-quarters environments and mobile shooting scenarios.
