DMX512 Light Console

The SWIT LA-R480 is a standard DMX512 light console built for zero-basis operation. It gives lighting operators intuitive and precise control over up to 48 channels from a single unit. Whether you work in a broadcast studio, a live event venue, or a production environment, the LA-R480 gives you a clean and reliable DMX control solution that is easy to set up and use.

48-Channel Control in One Unit

The LA-R480 has 24 channel faders and a Page A/B switch. Together, they give you control of 48 DMX channels in total. Six submaster faders let you group any of the 48 channels for fast and flexible scene management. A master fader controls all connected lights at once. In addition, the LCD display shows the exact DMX value of every channel, and each slider has its own flash control button for quick cue triggering.

Expand to 192 Channels

You can connect up to four LA-R480 units together using RJ45 cables. This expands your total DMX channel count to a maximum of 192. The master unit handles DMX channels 1–48. The slave units then cover channels 49–96, 97–144, and 145–192 in sequence. As a result, you can scale the system to match the size of any production without additional complex equipment.

Connectivity and Power

The LA-R480 accepts AC 88–256V at 50/60Hz with loop output for daisy-chaining. It also has RS232 remote control, RJ45 serial link ports, and DMX sockets in both 3-pin male and female formats. Furthermore, it fits into a standard 19-inch rack for easy integration into any existing production or studio setup.
