INFINIMAT 1×4 Tunable Mat Light

The Aputure INFINIMAT 1×4′ Tunable Color Mat Light V-Mount is a complete 1x4ft mat light system with a clear inflatable airbag and 400W control box. Its rugged design, compact setup, and inflatable airbag help save space and time on set.

High Output and Flexible Setup

INFINIMAT delivers significantly higher brightness than competitors of the same size, with up to double the intensity. This increased output makes the mat suitable for a variety of production settings, including daylight. The clear airbag provides rigidity and diffusion, while optional diffusion offers a smooth finish and selectable softness.

You can use the INFINIMAT with or without the airbag, strap it in place, or mount it to its frame. The airbag inflates quickly and takes less space than traditional diffusion rigs. When you finish a shoot, the INFINIMAT packs down small for storage or travel.

Universal Control and Pixel Options

INFINIMAT Control Boxes work across the INFINIMAT family. The Control Box 400W can control up to three INFINIMATs, while the Control Box 1600W can control up to five mats. This makes it simple to swap sizes or power arrays on set.

The INFINIMAT 1×4 has 2 pixels and a 1×2 pixel module. All INFINIMATs support color tuning and can work together in pixel arrays. You can control the pixels through Sidus Link Bluetooth and DMX/CRMX for active motion effects. Control methods also include on-board control, the Sidus Link App, DMX/RDM, CRMX, and etherCON.

Color and Ultra-Low Dimming

The INFINIMAT 1×4 offers a CCT range of 2,000K–10,000K, with CRI ≥96, TLCI ≥97, and CQS ≥95. It provides an SSI score of 84 for Tungsten and 73 for D56. Average TM-30 RF measures 92, while average TM-30 RG measures 100.

The dual-dimming internal control system allows the INFINIMAT to dim to extremely low levels without color shift. It also provides fine gradients for smooth transitions. Dimming can reach as low as 0.1%, which is up to ten times dimmer than the competition.

Rental-Grade Protection

The INFINIMAT features IP65 weather protection and a sealed system. Metal backing plates support heat dispersion, rigidity, and physical protection for the LEDs. The internal design of the mat and control box is modular for easy service.

The light operates from -20ºC to 50ºC and can be stored from -20ºC to 85ºC. The Control Box 400W produces 29.3 dBA in High Speed Mode and 24.7 dBA in Medium Speed Mode.

Portable Travel System

The INFINIMAT can be stored in its travel case for shipping and staged in its included zipper bag on set. For the 4×4 and smaller sizes, the airbag stores deflated on the mat, helping save setup time and storage space. The included Air Pump Mini inflates the 1×4 softbox in 33 seconds, while full inflation lasts for up to 7 days.

The INFINIMAT 1×4 measures 124 x 34cm and weighs 2.40kg. The system also includes an inflatable clear softbox, 1-stop and 2-stop diffusion cloth, light control skirt, light control grid, Air Pump Mini, Control Box 400W, and carrying cases.
