Professional CFexpress Type B

The Sony CEB-G Series CFexpress Type B Memory Card is available in four capacities: CEB-G240T with 240GB, CEB-G480T with 480GB, CEB-G960T with 960GB and CEB-G1920T with 1920GB. The series provides professional reliability with write speeds of up to 1750 MB/s and read speeds of up to 1850 MB/s.

High-Speed Performance and VPG400 Recording

With write speeds of up to 1750 MB/s, the CEB-G Series is designed for high-resolution photography, high-resolution files and high-speed recordings. The fast write speed supports a rapid response photography experience with high-resolution cameras.

For CineAlta BURANO requiring VPG400-certified sustained video recording, CEB-G960T and CEB-G1920T should be used. These two models feature VPG400 certification and enable stable high bit rate or frame rate video capture at 4K resolution and beyond. Memory cards without VPG certification are intended for cameras that do not require VPG-certified memory cards.

Rugged Construction for Challenging Environments

The CEB-G Series CFexpress Type B memory cards are designed with superior strength more than 3x greater than the CFexpress standard of bending. Additional rigidity has been tested to 70 newtons of force, and the cards are capable of withstanding 5 meter drops.

The cards are designed to withstand extreme temperatures, X-rays, electrostatic shocks and intensive UV sunlight. They are intended for extended professional use in challenging environments such as sports events, location shoots and outdoor expeditions, including snow-covered mountains and sand-blown deserts.

Efficient Data Transfer and Memory Management

The optional Sony MRW-G1 card reader is optimized for Sony CFexpress Type B memory cards. It transfers data through a USB SuperSpeed 10 Gbps interface and supports high-speed backups and more efficient workflows. The compact card reader is easy to carry and works with both Sony CFexpress Type B and Sony XQD G series memory cards.

Downloadable rescue software for Sony memory card customers can recover accidentally deleted files and corrupted photos and videos in today’s most common formats.

When used with the MRW-G1 card reader, Sony’s Media Scan Utility automatically scans the CFexpress Type B memory card and monitors its condition. As flash memory wears out over time and eventually no longer records data, the utility keeps you informed of the card’s condition so you can take action before it reaches its limit.
