Cine 5 Touchscreen

The SmallHD Cine 5 is a compact and lightweight 5-inch field monitor. It is built for First ACs, Camera Operators, and DPs who need bright and accurate monitoring on any shoot. With 2000 nits of brightness, it stays fully visible in direct sunlight. So you can monitor your production clearly no matter where you are or what time of day it is.

Clear and Accurate Image Quality

The Cine 5 has a 5-inch touchscreen with 1920×1080 resolution and 440 PPI. It also uses 10-bit color processing for excellent color accuracy on set. As a result, you get a sharp and detailed view of your image at all times. Furthermore, the 2000 nits brightness means bright sunlight never gets in the way of a clear shot review.

Built for All Conditions

The Cine 5 adds a joystick and back button for hands-on control. These let you navigate PageOS without the touchscreen. So on cold days when you keep your gloves on, you can still use the monitor fully. In addition, the 2-pin locking power input at 10–34V DC makes it a reliable choice for high-end field use in any environment.

Connectivity and I/O

The Cine 5 has one 3G-SDI input and one 3G-SDI input/output. It also has one HDMI 2.0 input and one HDMI 2.0 output, both supporting 4K at 30fps. A 3.5mm stereo headphone jack handles audio monitoring. For data, it includes one SD card slot, one Micro USB port, and one locking USB port. Together, these give you a full set of professional I/O options in a compact 5-inch body.

Camera Control and PageOS

The Cine 5 runs PageOS 5 with all your favorite monitoring tools. These include Focus Assist, Exposure Assist, frame guides, LUTs, and more. Moreover, optional camera control lets you access RED DSMC2, KOMODO, and V-RAPTOR functions right from the touchscreen. You can adjust Start/Stop Record, FPS, Shutter Speed, ISO, White Balance, Clip Playback, and more. Note that camera control licenses and cables are sold separately.
