SkyPanel X

Introduced as a modular system and configurable into different sizes (X21, X22, X23), SkyPanel X offers native soft and hard light technology, setting a new bar not only in terms of dimming and color science, but also in light output and beam quality for medium to long throws. With up to 4,800 lux at 10 m / 32.8 ft and eight pixels per panel; dynamic CCT range of 1,500 K – 20,000 K; RGBACL full-spectrum color engine; wireless CRMX control; integrated power supply; advanced networking possibilities; and an IP66 rating, the SkyPanel X is an all-weather lighting solution tailored to existing workflows. It is available in two housing colors: iconic blue/silver and all-black.

1. Soft light: Continue your established SkyPanel practices via the S60 Adapter, or streamline with the simplified X21 Dome workflow.

2. Hard Light: With HyPer Optics, the SkyPanel X becomes a high-output ARRI hard light panel, casting a refined rounded beam.
   • Delivers 4,800 lux at 10 m in the X21 format, and is fully weatherproof.
   • The HyPer Optic goes beyond S60 beam options, creating a superior hard light experience.
   • Configurable as a 2:1 (X21), 2:2 (X22), or 2:3 (X23) hard light source, offering one single, rounded beam for each format.
   • Features 8 controllable and sealed pixel zones for precise hard light control.
   • Wide 1,500 K – 20,000 K CCT range, with high-res, flicker-free dimming.
   • High-contrast looks when used as a direct source, great bouncing possibilities.
   • CRMX2, BLE, Bluetooth 5.0, and modular design enhance this hard light panel’s usability.
   • Compatible with DoPchoice SNAPBOX® SNOOT and SNAPGRID® for extra beam accuracy.

3. SkyPanel X modular system: ARRI’s SkyPanel X brings advanced LED technology to the forefront with its flexible modular concept. By quickly and seamlessly expanding into multiple sizes, the SkyPanel X offers enhanced possibilities and meets the extensive needs of modern sets. It offers three configurations: X21 (a 2:1 unit), X22 (an expanded 2:2 surface), and X23 (a large 2:3 panel), capable of generating either wide soft light or intense hard light, via HyPer Optics or X21 Domes.

4. Control options:  Operate manually via the robust ALL-WEATHER Control Panel, Make use of ARRI’s LiCo app through native Bluetooth 5.0 setup and control, Take advantage of LumenRadio’s CRMX wireless integration, Benefit from two Ethernet ports, wired DMX and RDM control, and more

   • Wired control options: Harness the power of wired data for lighting control: benefit from technologies such as DMX-512A, RDM, sACN, Art-Net, LAN, and web control, ensuring maximum reliability and advanced setup management. Optimized for heavy traffic and complex processing, SkyPanel X integrates seamlessly with ARRI’s ALSM.

     • DMX-512A 5-pin: Conventional DMX and RDM communication via two 5-pin XLR DMX ports.

     • sACN: Ethernet-based communication via ANSI E1.31 – sACN, with two Ethernet ports to allow for daisy-chaining.

     • LAN: Ethernet-based communication for web control and general networking purposes.

     • Art-Net: Ethernet based communication via Art-Net, with two ethernet ports to allow for daisy chaining.
