SkyPanel X Panel Light

The ARRI SkyPanel X is a modular LED lighting system that delivers both native soft light and hard light from a single platform. Available in X21, X22, and X23 configurations, it combines outstanding light output, advanced color accuracy, flexible control options, and an IP66-rated weatherproof design. With a dynamic CCT range from 1,500 K to 20,000 K, an RGBACL full-spectrum color engine, eight controllable pixel zones per panel, and integrated wireless and wired connectivity, SkyPanel X fits seamlessly into demanding film, television, broadcast, and live production workflows. It is available in the classic blue/silver finish or an all-black housing.

Modular Lighting for Every Production

SkyPanel X adapts to different production needs with three configurable sizes: X21 (2:1), X22 (2:2), and X23 (2:3). Each configuration delivers either wide soft illumination or powerful hard light using HyPer Optics or X21 Domes. This flexible modular design allows crews to expand the lighting surface quickly while maintaining a consistent workflow across productions.

Native Soft and Hard Light Performance

For soft lighting, SkyPanel X delivers enhanced brightness, smooth shadow quality, and a wide beam spread. It supports existing SkyPanel S60-C accessories through the optional S60 Adapter or offers a simplified workflow with the X21 Dome. When fitted with HyPer Optics, the fixture transforms into a high-output hard light panel that produces a clean, rounded beam with up to 4,800 lux at 10 meters in the X21 configuration. It also supports DoPchoice SNAPBOX® SNOOT and SNAPGRID® accessories for improved beam shaping and accuracy.

Advanced Color Control and Pixel Effects

The RGBACL full-spectrum color engine delivers accurate color reproduction across an extensive 1,500 K to 20,000 K color temperature range. High-resolution, flicker-free dimming ensures smooth operation even at low brightness levels. Eight individually controllable pixel zones per unit enable creative textured lighting effects while providing precise control for both soft and hard light applications.

Professional Connectivity and Control

Operate SkyPanel X directly through the all-weather control panel or manage it wirelessly using ARRI’s LiCo app with native Bluetooth 5.0, BLE, and CRMX2 integration. Wired control options include DMX-512A, RDM, sACN, Art-Net, LAN, web control, and dual Ethernet ports for reliable networking and daisy chaining. The system also integrates smoothly with ARRI ALSM for advanced lighting management on complex productions.
