Hyperion Tube Kit

The Astera Hyperion Tube Kit brings together 4 of Astera’s most powerful LED tubes along with all essential accessories, stored in a durable protective plastic case. The included AC distribution cable allows 4 power supplies to be connected simultaneously, charging all tubes conveniently inside the case and keeping them ready for their next production.

Building on the enormous success of the Titan Tube, Astera created the Hyperion Tube — a double-length powerhouse measuring just over 2 meters and around 80 inches. With double the LEDs, double the batteries, double the brightness and double the pixels, the Hyperion Tube delivers the same high-quality light output as the Titan Tube but at a completely different scale. App control, CRMX, on-tube control and wired DMX are all supported.

Built-in Battery & Seamless Runtime

Each Hyperion Tube features a powerful built-in battery. With Astera’s Seamless Runtime technology, you can select a specific runtime duration to guarantee your lights last throughout the entire production — the system automatically limits output to deliver the maximum possible brightness for the chosen duration. When displaying white light at maximum brightness, the battery lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Advanced App Features

• Seamless Runtime: Select the required runtime duration and the system limits output to ensure maximum brightness throughout your entire production.
• Effects: Build programs from colors and effects, trigger them, match them to a beat, and combine multiple programs and lights into full scenes.
• Talkback+: Detect all available lights, set them up, check their status, and configure DMX addresses and DMX profiles.
• Anti-Theft: When enabled, the integrated theft alarm triggers a visual and audible alert if lights are moved, with the alarm also displayed in the AsteraApp.
• Emergency Light: Each Hyperion Tube can double as a battery-powered emergency light — detecting power loss and instantly switching to bright white light to illuminate the venue.

Control Options

• AsteraApp: Intuitive and fast control of complex lighting setups, used for preparation, control and monitoring.
• Wireless DMX: Built-in LumenRadio wireless DMX module supports CRMX and W-DMX transmitters. The AsteraBox can be used to transmit DMX data wirelessly to your lights.
• Wired DMX: Connect DMX, Artnet or sACN via DataLink and link lights via Power/Data combination cable.
• On-Light Control Panel: Dedicated buttons offer direct control over brightness and HSI colors directly on the fixture.

Wiring & Power Options

• DataLink: A data injector with power pass-through for wired DMX connections to Hyperion Tubes. Does not include a built-in power supply — requires one Titan or Hyperion PSU per tube.
• Titan Power/Data Combination Cable: Connects the Hyperion Tube to DataLink via a single cable carrying both power and data. Compatible with the newer Power/Data Combination Cable with 90° connectors. Available in 1.5m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 200mm / 5ft, 8ft, 15ft, 30ft & 45ft.
• Individual Power Supply: AC to DC converter to charge or wire a single Hyperion Tube. Also compatible with Titan and Helios Tube. 1.2m cable on AC side, 1.5m cable on DC side, 24VDC 4A output.
• Extension Cable: Adds 5m of cable length to your power supply. Male to female cable, compatible with Titan, Helios and Hyperion.
