The Brilliant² Rota-Streak™ Filter is a new twist in streak filters, offering fresh creative options for in-camera streak, star, and swirl effects. In addition, Lindsey Optics Brilliant Streak Filters create exciting streaks on bright lights and highlights in a scene. Furthermore, the 6.6″x 6.6″ filters are designed to fit in most 6.6″ matte boxes.

The rotating filter mount allows the streak effect to be adjusted by rotating it to find just the right angle for the streak. Alternatively, the rotation can be motorized for dynamic rotating streak, star, and swirl effects.

To create our streak filters, a unique manufacturing method is used in which very small cylindrical rod lenses are laminated inside the glass filter. By incorporating the rod lenses with different spacing, a variety of streak effects can be achieved. A closer spacing results in a stronger effect, while a wider spacing creates a weaker one.
