The new V-AF lineup marks the world’s first lens specifically designed to make video content creation more convenient. The fifth lens in this innovative lineup is the V-AF 20mm T1.9. Unified Form Factor – Compact & Light

The V-AF series significantly enhances compatibility with gimbals and drones by incorporating a unified form factor across five different focal lengths, ranging from ultra-wide to medium telephoto. With its compact size of 73 X 70mm and lightweight design weighing less than 300g, this lens eliminates the need to re-adjust equipment when switching between lenses.

LED Indicator (Tally Lamp) – Excellent Usability

The lamp, conveniently located on the front and mount index, allows users to quickly verify whether a video is recording during a shoot. This simple yet effective feature enhances video content creation, especially in tight spaces where equipment is limited.

Support for 8K and Consistent Color Tone

The V-AF series supports resolutions up to 8K, all while maintaining a small and lightweight form. This makes it ideal for use with handheld gimbals, drones, and even in studios or on-location productions. Additionally, all lenses in the V-AF series are color-matched to ensure consistency when swapping lenses. The nine aperture blades also contribute to achieving a natural-looking bokeh effect.

Custom Switch & Button

The V-AF lenses come with a “Focus save” function, typically found in professional cine equipment. Additionally, users can take advantage of a custom mode that adds further functionality through firmware updates. This feature is particularly beneficial for students and amateur videographers aspiring to hone their cinematographic skills.
