Description
BRC-X400 4K PTZ Camera
Capture every point of view in 4K with excellent picture quality and an efficient IP production workflow. The versatile BRC-X400 PTZ camera has been designed to excel in a wide range of environments, including broadcast studios, remote on-air suites, sports stadiums, arenas, houses of worship, and lecture halls. Therefore, it offers flexibility for various applications.
The camera’s 1/2.5-type Exmor-R™ sensor delivers broadcast-quality 4K images, offering excellent sensitivity, very low noise, and rich, natural color reproduction. In addition, it is complemented by an integrated high-resolution lens, which provides a powerful zoom capability of up to 80x in Full HD** (30x in 4K). This, coupled with approximately 70° wide-angle coverage, captures every point of view with exceptional clarity.
Furthermore, efficient IP-based live production is enhanced through support for NDI®|HX, allowing flexible configuration with other networked NDI®-enabled devices. Additionally, images can be reviewed remotely via a web browser, ensuring convenience. With support for RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol), RTMP*** (Real-Time Messaging Protocol), and SRT*** (Secure Reliable Transport), smooth and stable streaming of both video and audio (from an optional microphone, available separately) is guaranteed over an IP network, Moreover, the installation and set-up process has been simplified, with a new Picture Setting File**** allowing identical settings to be applied to multiple cameras via a web interface from a laptop or PC. This reduces time and effort for large-scale operations. Integration in multi-camera live events is also made more convenient with genlock support and an “on-air” tally lamp.
