The Sony SRG-X40UH delivers sharp and detailed 4K video using a sensitive 1/2.5-type Exmor R™ CMOS image sensor. The sensor captures clear images with very low noise, even in challenging lighting conditions. It also creates high-quality Full HD output through 4K oversampling, producing improved detail and image clarity. Natural color reproduction ensures every scene looks realistic and true to life.

The integrated Day/Night function automatically switches between full-color daytime operation and black-and-white night mode. Increased sensitivity helps the camera capture detailed images even in very low-light environments.

Powerful Zoom with Wide Coverage

The built-in lens combines 20x optical zoom with Sony Clear Image Zoom technology for extended reach. Capture subjects with up to 40x zoom in Full HD or 30x zoom in 4K while maintaining excellent image quality. A horizontal viewing angle of approximately 70° makes it easy to capture wide spaces such as meeting rooms, lecture halls, operating theatres, and auditoriums.

Smooth and responsive pan, tilt, and zoom movements create seamless camera transitions, while a pan angle of up to 170° allows wide area coverage with fewer cameras.

PoE+ support supplies power and network connectivity through a single LAN cable, reducing installation complexity and cable clutter. VISCA and VISCA over IP control allow reliable remote camera operation across your network.
