The E PZ 16–50mm F3.5–5.6 OSS (SELP1650) is perfect for travel. This lightweight, retractable mid-range zoom collapses to just 29.9mm, making it highly portable. Furthermore, it features a power zoom, which ensures smooth, silent, and effortless zooming.
Coupled with α E-mount cameras, APS-C E-mount lenses deliver impressive camera performance, offering high-quality results in various shooting conditions.
Capture Smooth, Blur-Free Images
Thanks to the built-in Optical SteadyShot™ image stabilization, you can enjoy smooth, blur-free photos and videos, even when shooting handheld.
Smooth Defocusing
In contrast to a standard polygon-shaped aperture, this lens incorporates a 7-blade circular aperture. As a result, it produces more natural, rounded defocusing or “bokeh.”
Refined Optical Performance
By using aspherical lens elements, this lens minimizes distortion, while ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass enhances contrast, resolution, and color fidelity.
Powered Zoom for Effortless Control
Whether shooting stills or video, the powered zoom offers maximum creative control. Additionally, you can operate it via a zoom rocker on selected E-mount cameras for added convenience.
