PTZ Auto Framing License

The REA-L0200 optional license is activated to enable the PTZ Auto Framing and PTZ Auto Tracking features for the REA-C1000 Edge Analytics Appliance, From firmware version v5.0 onwards, PTZ Auto Framing, which has evolved from the conventional auto-tracking function, has been added to the REA-L0200. Customers who are already using REA-L0200 can access the PTZ Auto Framing functionality free of charge simply by updating the firmware.

When connected to a SONY PTZ camera, the newly added PTZ Auto Framing feature provides powerful AI-powered video analytics, which automatically detects and tracks the position of the presenter within the camera frame. As the presenter moves, the pan/tilt/zoom mechanism of the camera ensures that the presenter is continuously framed naturally, without requiring a human camera operator to manually follow the movements. This offers a cost-effective tracking solution, which can be used in various applications such as education, corporate settings, broadcast, sports, and events.

Please note:

• This is an activation key for pre-installed software.
• This license does not support the ILME-FR7, SRG-A40, and SRG-A12 models.
• The SRG-X40UH supports only PTZ Auto Framing.
• PTZ Auto Tracking does not support tilt and zoom tracking.
• PTZ Auto Tracking and Handwriting extraction (REA-L0100) can be run simultaneously. However, PTZ Auto Framing is not available for use at the same time as Handwriting extraction.
