The K7 features a 7-inch Full HD display with 2,800 nits of brightness for clear viewing in direct sunlight. Its precision-CNC aluminium body provides rigidity and heat management, while four rubber corner guards help absorb shocks from drops and collisions. This durable construction suits demanding on-set environments.

The fully laminated multi-touch screen supports responsive gesture control. Double-tap, swipe up and two-finger pinch gestures provide quick access to focus zoom, settings and menu navigation. For tactile control, the monitor includes a scroll wheel, two customizable function keys and a dedicated touchscreen lock button to prevent accidental inputs during critical takes.

Video Connectivity and LUT Support

The K7 provides 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and loop outputs, with HDMI support up to 4K60P. SDI/HDMI cross-conversion connects different camera systems and external devices. You can also choose whether to apply a LUT to the SDI or HDMI output, allowing you to send a graded signal to monitors without internal LUT support.

The monitor includes pre loaded conversion LUTs for SONY S-Log2/3, Canon C-Log2/3, ARRI LogC3/C4 and RED Log3G10 to Rec.709 for color preview on set. It also supports importing custom 3D LUTs from an SD card in 17, 32, 33, 64 and 65 formats. A 4GB SD card comes included, allowing you to load custom LUTs.

Composition and Anamorphic Tools

The K7 lets you capture a still image from the current frame and overlay it on the live camera feed with adjustable transparency. Use the reference image to match camera movements, reposition subjects or recreate previous framing.

Anamorphic de-squeeze options include 1.25x, 1.33x, 1.5x, 1.6x, 1.8x, 2.0x and 2.0x MAG. Custom ratios support continuous adjustment from 0.5x to 2x. The 0.5x reverse de-squeeze mode suits vertically mounted 2x anamorphic lenses and produces an 8:9 near-square frame for landscape and portrait cropping.

The monitor also includes professional composition, focus and exposure assistance tools. Most tools offer adjustable parameters, letting you set their sensitivity and intensity to match your workflow.

Flexible Mounting and Power

You can rotate the on-screen display (OSD) menu by ±90° or flip it by 180°. This keeps the menu readable when you mount the monitor vertically for portrait shooting or upside down in tight rigging setups.

Power options include a 2-pin LEMO DC input, USB-C PD from 9–20V and two built-in NP-F battery slots with hot-swap capability. The screen displays the real-time battery level for each slot.

An optional CNC high-strength monitor cage (SKU: MA-K7CAGE) adds protection in demanding environments. It includes a foldable leather sunhood to help reduce glare.
