CT12 Cine Tripod System

The Tilta CT12 75mm Cine Fluid Head With Carbon Fiber Tripod combines high performance, quality, and precision in a professional imaging system. Its cine fluid head uses a dynamic balance rebound and damping structure for controlled camera movement.

Dynamic Balance and Damping

The fluid head supports camera systems from 2.2 to 26.5 lbs and provides 10 levels of dynamic balance adjustment. This helps maintain stable balance at different tilt angles. The head also offers 8 levels of adjustable drag, giving you control over resistance during panning and tilting.

The pan base rotates 360°, while the tilt axis moves up to 90° forward and 60° backward. The 360° panoramic bottom plate supports smooth horizontal camera sweeps and panoramic shots. Independent locks secure the pan base and tilt axis when needed.

The Drop In Manfrotto Receiver allows quick mounting and helps balance the camera’s center of gravity without a dovetail plate. The detachable receiver can also be replaced by an extended Tilta Dovetail Plate, which is coming soon.

Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs

The carbon fiber legs use a filament winding technique and support up to 50KG/110LB. This construction provides enhanced durability compared with standard carbon fabric processes. The tripod reaches a minimum height of 2.5ft and a maximum height of 5.4ft.

A removable adapter lets the legs accommodate both 75mm and 100mm tripod heads. The plate buckle-style locking mid-level spreader adds stability. The tripod weighs 7.75 KG (17 LB), making it easier to carry.

Built for Flexible Operation

A built-in LED light illuminates the level for adjustments in low-light conditions. It requires one CR1632 3V battery, which is not included. The textured silicone pan handle provides a comfortable grip and can move to either the left or right side of the tripod.

The system operates from -50°C to 60°C (-58°F to 140°F), making it suitable for harsh temperature conditions. The 3/8″-16 anti-rotation threads provide additional rigging options and include a 1/4″-20 adapter for compatibility with other equipment.

The tripod uses aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and high-standard CNC manufacturing. Tilta also extensively tests and refines the fluid head components for durability and precise design. The system supports setups ranging from lightweight mirrorless cameras to heavy cinema rigs.
