Description

Soft Effect Filter

The Tiffen 4 x 5.650″ Soft FX Filter helps create a softer and more flattering image while preserving overall detail. It is well suited for portrait photography, cinematic productions, and creative visual work where a subtle soft-focus effect is desired.

Smooth and Natural Appearance

This filter uses an array of small lenses within the glass surface to soften fine details. As a result, it helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, wrinkles, and skin texture while maintaining image sharpness. The effect creates a more natural and pleasing look without significantly affecting overall clarity.

Optical Glass Construction

Tiffen manufactures this filter from optical glass to help maintain color fidelity and image quality. In addition, the filter is produced using ColorCore technology, which laminates the filter material between two pieces of optical glass and grinds it to precise tolerances for dependable performance.

Flexible Creative Effects

The Soft FX design delivers a gentle soft-focus effect while preserving important image details. Furthermore, stronger grades within the Soft FX range can create additional highlight inhalation effects, giving filmmakers and photographers more creative control over the final look.
