SONY SRG-AS10 PTZ Camera

The SONY SRG-AS10 combines intelligent PTZ Auto Framing with high-quality 4K 60p imaging to simplify professional video production. Sony’s AI analytics automatically detects and follows subjects while maintaining smooth, natural framing. This allows educators, corporate presenters, sports venues, studios, and event operators to capture professional-looking video without depending on manual camera control or advanced production skills. Its compact and lightweight design also supports flexible installation in many different environments.

AI-Powered PTZ Auto Framing

Sony’s proprietary AI analytics continuously detects people by analyzing body skeletons and head positions. The camera identifies the primary subject even when several people appear in the frame and keeps the composition balanced throughout the recording.

PTZ Auto Framing supports online education, corporate streaming, remote presentations, conferences, ceremonies, lectures, and sporting events. Ball Sports (Basketball) Mode automatically follows players and the ball from an overview angle to capture the flow of indoor five-on-five basketball games. Person Framing Mode and Ball Sports Framing Mode operate independently and cannot run together.

The camera also includes Tracking Range, allowing framing only inside one predefined area while ignoring unwanted subjects. Fixed Angle Position maintains a selected viewing angle whenever the presenter remains inside the predefined zone and resumes tracking after the presenter leaves the area.

Face Registration stores the main presenter’s facial information to improve tracking priority and quickly recover the subject if tracking is interrupted. External JPEG face data can also be imported for faster setup.

Multi-person Framing automatically keeps up to eight people within the image. One primary subject can be selected while nearby participants become secondary subjects. Lead Room Effect automatically creates natural space in the direction the subject is facing and offers three adjustable margin levels for professional-looking composition.

High-Resolution 4K60p Image Quality

The camera delivers refined 4K 60p video with detailed image quality for recording, live streaming, and archiving. Facial expressions, presentation materials, and fine details remain clear, helping audiences follow every presentation.

A 4K STARVIS™ image sensor produces clear, low-noise images even under low-light conditions. Smooth 4K 60p recording accurately captures natural movement and fast sports action. The camera also produces highly detailed Full HD video through 4K oversampling.

The integrated lens provides up to 10x optical zoom in 4K and up to 20x zoom in Full HD using Tele Convert Mode. Improved motor performance delivers smooth pan, tilt, and zoom movements with adjustable operating speeds for stable and natural camera motion.

Flexible Installation and System Integration

The compact and lightweight body supports installation in lecture halls, conference rooms, studios, sports venues, and event spaces. The camera supports both tripod and ceiling installation, while image flip functionality increases installation flexibility.

The SRG-AS10 is available in black and white finishes, allowing it to blend naturally into different environments.

NDI HX2 comes pre-installed, enabling immediate IP video transmission without additional software or license activation. Alongside HDMI and SDI outputs, the camera supports RTSP, RTMP, and SRT streaming protocols. PoE++ allows power, video, and camera control through a single LAN cable for simple and efficient system integration.

Simple Control and Professional Workflow

The camera supports VISCA over IP for remote control and easy integration with external control systems. It also works with the optional RM-IP500 remote controller. Operators can control camera functions using a web browser on a PC or tablet, while the included IR remote commander provides convenient wireless PTZ control.

An integrated tally lamp provides clear visual status indication. It displays red for On Air operation or green when PTZ Auto Framing is active.
