Flagship 4K Imaging Performance

The BRC-AM7 uses a 1.0-type Exmor RS image sensor with approximately 14 million effective pixels and Sony’s latest BIONZ XR image processing engine to produce detailed 4K 60p video with low noise and realistic texture reproduction. The integrated 20x optical zoom lens covers wide-angle to telephoto shooting, while Clear Image Zoom extends the range to 30x in 4K and 40x in Full HD. The built-in electronic Variable ND filter automatically adjusts exposure from 1/4 to 1/128 ND, maintaining consistent brightness during changing lighting conditions without affecting depth of field.

AI Auto Framing and Intelligent Subject Tracking

Advanced AI analytics recognize people using body pose, face, head, clothing, and other visual information to deliver smooth and natural PTZ Auto Framing. Fast phase-detection autofocus works together with AI tracking to maintain sharp focus on moving subjects, even during demanding productions. Ball Sports (Basketball) Mode automatically follows both players and the ball to capture the action more naturally. Additional intelligent functions include Tracking Range for defining active tracking zones, Lead Room Effect for professional-looking framing based on viewing direction, Multi-person Framing for tracking groups of up to eight people, and Face Registration for prioritizing registered presenters while improving subject reacquisition after tracking interruptions.

Broad interoperability with production systems, including S700PTP and free-d protocols, simplifies integration into professional broadcast workflows.
