Light Box 45×45

The Aputure Light Box 45×45 is a compact Bowens Mount Square Softbox for creators, photographers, and filmmakers. It transforms hard point-source LEDs such as the amaran COB 60 series into lightweight soft lights. Use it for content creation, portraiture, and product photography.

Soft Square Design

Measuring 45 x 45cm (approximately 18 x 18in), the Light Box 45×45 has a depth of only 30cm (12in). Its square diffusion area is larger than 1 x 1 LED panels, resulting in softer light. The design works well for 3-point lighting setups, on-the-go content creation, live streaming, and photography.

Portable Setup

At only 0.68kg (1.5lbs), the Light Box 45×45 suits run-and-gun content creation and shooting in tight spaces. It also works as an LED photography softbox. For quick setup, take it from the included flat-pack carrying bag, connect the four rods, and prepare it for lighting.

Universal Bowens Mount

The included Bowens Mount speed ring lets the Light Box 45×45 work with Bowens Mount LED lights across the Aputure and amaran ecosystem. It pairs with lights from the ultra-compact amaran COB 60d/x to the amaran 100/200 series, as well as the Aputure LS 300d II and 300x.

Control Light Softness

The Light Box 45×45 includes two diffusion fabrics for different levels of softness: 1.5-stop and 2.5-stop. It also includes a 45° fabric control grid to focus the light spread on the subject. Attach the grid over the diffusion to shape the light for your shot.
