The BEBOB VS2-RL is a professional dual-channel simultaneous charger designed for V-Mount lithium-ion and lithium-manganese batteries. Engineered for broadcast, cinema, and production environments, the charger delivers reliable charging performance while supporting external 12V accessories through its integrated DC power output.

Each charging channel provides 16.8V output at 2.5A, allowing two batteries to charge simultaneously for efficient workflow management during demanding production schedules.

Integrated Power Supply and Powerbase Function

The VS2-RL includes a built-in 75W DC AC adapter with a 4-pin XLR output delivering 15V at 5A for powering compatible 12V devices and accessories. This integrated design reduces the need for separate external power supplies during studio or field operation.

Its Powerbase function allows the charger to operate as a portable power bank when disconnected from AC power. Attached batteries can provide DC output through the XLR connection, supporting temporary external device powering directly from installed batteries.

The system cannot simultaneously charge batteries and power external devices at the same time, ensuring safe and stable power management.

Battery Monitoring and Cooling System

LED status indicators provide clear operational feedback throughout the charging process. Green LEDs indicate standby mode or fully charged batteries, red LEDs confirm active charging, and yellow LEDs warn of damaged or unsafe battery conditions.

An integrated cooling fan automatically activates during charging to regulate internal temperatures and maintain stable operation during extended charging sessions.

Compatibility and Operating Specifications

The VS2-RL supports BEBOB, IDX, and Sony V-Mount batteries, making it suitable for mixed battery ecosystems used in professional production setups. Charging times vary according to battery capacity, with typical charging durations of approximately 1.5 hours for 98Wh batteries and 3.5 hours for 294Wh batteries.

Designed for portable production use, the charger weighs approximately 1kg and measures 60 x 231 x 141mm. It supports multi-standard input voltages from 90V to 264V at 47–63Hz and operates in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +35°C.
