F10 Fresnel Lens

The Aputure F10 Fresnel is a glass Fresnel lens made for modular Bowens Mount LED fixtures. Its wide 250mm (9.84in.) glass Fresnel can increase light output by up to 10x. The Dual Lens Optical System uses a two-stage optical design for Light Storm fixtures. When paired with the LS600d Pro, the F10 can deliver up to 29,300 lux at 3 meters with a 15° spot beam. Its light quality also provides a result that lighting technicians will find similar to a Tungsten 5K or Studio 2K.

Adjustable Spot And Flood

The F10 provides a variable 15°–45° beam angle for spot-to-flood control. Aputure’s seamless helicoid focusing mechanism lets users adjust the beam by simply twisting the lens ring. The design provides ergonomic and precise focusing without extra knobs or handles.

The F10 performs especially well with the Aputure LS600d Pro, a 600W Daylight COB LED. Together, the fixture and Fresnel produce 11,440 lux in flood and 29,300 lux in spot at 3 meters. In flood mode, the combination can eclipse Studio 2K Tungsten lights and approach the intensity of 5K Tungsten fixtures. The F10 and LS600d Pro can also compete on par with higher-powered HMIs.

Dual Optic Light Control

The F10 uses a two-stage optical system based on the design of the Fresnel 2X. A rear aspherical focusing element helps optimize the LS600d Pro output across the front Fresnel element. This design provides up to 340% additional output in Flood mode.

Heat-Resistant Construction

The heat-resistant body uses an offset ventilation design to support airflow while minimizing light leaks. Despite its 250mm (9.84in.) Fresnel diameter, the F10 keeps a compact construction. Its shell can withstand the heat of the LS600d Pro. The collapsible aspherical focusing lens also lets the F10 stow to a depth of 6.8 inches (172.5mm).

Accessory Slot And Carrying

The F10 features an industry-standard drop-in accessory slot for Bowens Mount Fresnel. Its heavy-duty slot supports the F10 Barn Doors for light shaping and can also accommodate a 13-inch (330mm) scrim. The F10 comes with a durable padded carrying bag for convenient transport to film sets.
